My Dream My Future

Do you pay attention in how fast time goes by? From the age of 5 we spend our time busy with school, and then we grow up to find a job and build up a family. Before we realize, time has passed by and all the dreams we had for our future have not yet come true. The reason is because our dreams are just dreams and haven’t yet become goals. The only way to achieve our goals is to know what we want to plan how to get it. Life is a dream, realize it.
In my future I want to do so many things. One of the things I want to do is become a Civil Engineer so I can help build a better Houses and Structures. To become an Engineer, I will have to study more than ever. Graduate from University of Northern Philippines is one of my short-time goals I want to achieve. After that I want to get a well-paid job as an Engineer, doing all kind of projects to improve the infrastructure of different cities. I also want to create an organization for the poor and homeless people in my country; I believe that we should all have the same privilege like have a place to live in and receive an education. I wish for a happy and healthy life, who doesn’t? But this is something I can only wish for. On the other hand I can work hard to make my dreams come true.
CHANGE STARTS WITH ME :D

They say that I am just a kid. That I can't change anything. They say the world is a cruel and
Heartless place and it is.

In today's world people are more concerned with their text messages then their neighbours. People
Are more worried about Jersey Shore than the bullying at local schools. But the real problem is
Not their ignorance, it is their indifference. They play the "life is unfair card," and move on. But
Not me.

To change the world, it starts with a single person. That single person has to have the moral and
emotional strength to stand up for what they believe in. One single act of bravery in the face of
certain defeat can inspire a lasting change on the world. Mr. Rodolfo Raquel didn't move from her seat,
Dr. Giovanni Velasco shared his dream with the world, and GOD rewrote history. By overcoming
the odds, and never giving up, these legendary people not only inspire millions, they serve as a

blueprint on how to change the world.

NEW YEAR! NEW ME!

My resolution for 2014. New Years is a time when many people around the world make promises. However, many of the promises made by people are rarely completed. I plan to keep my New Year’s resolutions through the year. I plan to recycle and improve my grade. I sure hope I can make this 2011 resolution last. My first New Year’s resolution is to recycle. Recently I realized I have not been recycling enough. I really need to recycle more to protect the ozone layer. I did a little research and I came across some valuable information. If I do not recycle there are consequences. I learned plastic does not rot away. It stays there for centuries and centuries. I researched that plastic that has sat in landfills for a period of time can turn into a sort of chemical waste. The poison ruins the soil and the soil is polluted. When I do not recycle I am doing damage to the environment. My second resolution is to do better in my academics. Last semester I achieved good grades in all my classes accept for Filipino. I plan on achieving honour roll when I graduated and hope that my name will be listed on the dean list every semester. Honour roll is when you receive all subjects with High Grades. I really want to make honour roll and my parents will provide the necessary help to doing so.
